Vic Spanner vs Carnelian

Biography:

Carnelian features Nina Clark on vocals and guitar with Simon Bridgestock on guitar, bass, percussion and backing vocals.

Together they write their own brand of acoustic originals which are unique to their roots in the Weald of Kent.

They have recently supported Midge Ure, Madeleine Peyroux and Circulus amongst others, and perform to rapturous crowds the length and breadth of the country in their own right.

The original versions of the tracks on this E.P. are available on the debut album “The Changeling”, available from the band’s website.

Vic Spanner (aka Mark Beechill) has been making music on outdated software for a number of years, mostly on his own, sometimes with the assistance of others. He doesn’t play any instruments as such but enjoys salvaging, random destruction, serious stupidity and making a mess and then tidying it up.

He is currently based in Canterbury, U.K., and is trying to be less self-indulgent.
