Biography
Martin L Stephenson has been working within many genres of sonic art for many years, under various pseudonyms, APOLLON being possibly his most avant gard, certainly his darkest.
He utilizes retro techniques, tape looping, found sound and percussion to form cut up soundscapes and dark ambience.
Earlier releases have included two album collaborations with the late MUSLIMGAUZE, "Dark Thoughts" and Year Zero" {DOR}, "Nox" {Vuzh} , "Aleatorical" {DOR} CROWNED AND CONQUERING CHILD {DOR} and a collaboration with T.o.i.l/Wolfbane, "Towers of silence" {Advaita Audio}.
Apollon is also involved with the FONO art group, making short films and providing occasional soundtracks for other film makers, such as Martin Picton's "Nothing Happened Today".
